These terms apply to your use of foragebali.com and to private food forest experiences planned with Forage Bali. By using the website or confirming an experience, you agree to these terms.
1. Inquiries and confirmations
Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a booking. A private food forest day is confirmed only after we agree on availability, group details, pricing, payment terms, and any required logistics.
2. Pricing and payment
Standard pricing is USD 80 (about 1.4M IDR) per person, with a 2-person minimum. Groups of 8 or more receive 20% off, which makes the group rate USD 64 (about 1.1M IDR) per person. Balinese guests 50% off. Transport, private partner arrangements, or unusual custom requests may be quoted separately before you confirm.
3. Cancellation and weather
You may cancel for a refund within 24 hours of booking. After that 24-hour booking window, cancellations are not refundable. If weather or field conditions make the experience unsafe, we may adjust the itinerary, reschedule, or cancel with a refund.
4. Safety and participant responsibility
Foraging involves walking outdoors, uneven ground, weather exposure, insects, cooking, and food tasting. Guests are responsible for following guide instructions, sharing allergies or medical concerns in advance, wearing suitable clothing, and deciding whether the experience is appropriate for their group. We do not taste any foraged plant without guide approval.
5. Transport and location
Transport is not included by default. Exact meeting details are shared after confirmation to protect private food forest locations. If we help coordinate a driver or pickup option, third-party transport providers remain responsible for their own services.
6. Website content
Site content is provided for general information and marketing. Plant descriptions, recipes, and field notes are not a substitute for expert local identification or safety judgment. Do not independently eat wild plants based only on website content.
7. Third-party services
We may use services such as WhatsApp, Mailchimp, analytics providers, payment or booking tools, and hosting providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
